Jon Boydon has just completed two years in the West End show "We Will Rock You" playing the alternate 'Galileo / Figaro', having previously starred in touring productions of "Grease", "Jesus Christ Superstar", "The Rocky Horror Show" and "What A Feeling". Mr Cruise is a big fan of the show, having seen it a number of times on Broadway but wanted to catch it again while in Australia. Alex Belfield will be interviewing Ryan Molloy, who stars as Frankie Valli in JERSEY BOYS, for his 'Magic of the Musicals'. The programme will be broadcast nationwide across the BBC Local radio stations on 5 May.

To celebrate the launch of JERSEY BOYS on Tuesday 18 March we have some TV specials lined up that you won't want to miss, so make sure your diary is up to date with the following dates.

Jane Witherspoon from BBC London News on BBC 1 will be talking to Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio and Marshall Brickman on Tuesday 18 March between 6.30 and 7pm.

London Tonight's Lucy Cotter will be interviewing Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio on Tuesday 18th March. Frankie Valli will then be Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley's guest on The One Show on Wednesday 19 March.

Ryan Molloy, Stephen Ashfield, Philip Bulcock and Glenn Carter, who play The Four Seasons in JERSEY BOYS, will be performing a medley of songs including Sherry, Walk Like A Man and Bye Bye Baby on GMTV on Thursday 20 March.

On Friday 21 March, Frankie Valli will be making a guest appearance on Loose Women, and Ryan Molloy, Stephen Ashfield, Philip Bulcock and Glenn Carter, who play The Four Seasons in JERSEY BOYS, will be performing a medley of songs from the show. Ryan Molloy, as Frankie Valli, will also sing the track of Can't Take My Eyes Off You and the four actors will perform Walk Like A Man.

To celebrate the launch of JERSEY BOYS on Tuesday 18 March we have some fantastic radio interviews lined up for you, that you won't want to miss.

The Today Programme on Radio 4 will be interviewing both Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio on Tuesday 18 March. On the same day Graham Dene will be interviewing Ryan Molloy, Stephen Ashfield, Philip Bulcock and Glenn Carter, who play The Four Seasons in JERSEY BOYS, for his Breakfast Show on Smooth Radio.

Simon Mayo will then be interviewing Frankie Valli for his BBC Radio 5 Live afternoon show on Wednesday 19 March at 3.00pm.

On Easter Monday, 24 March, Graham Dene's breakfast show on Smooth Radio will be featuring a JERSEY BOYS special. Graham will be interviewing Bob Gaudio together with Ryan Molloy, Stephen Ashfield, Philip Bulcock and Glenn Carter, who play The Four Seasons in JERSEY BOYS, for his Breakfast Show on Smooth Radio.

Bob Gaudio will be appearing as Ken Bruce's guest on his Radio 2 show throughout the week commencing 31 March, appearing in the feature 'Tracks of our Years'.

The leading cast members of JERSEY BOYS, set to open at the Prince Edward Theatre next February, were announced to the press and the theatre industry at an elaborate reception held at the legendary Jazz Club, Ronnie Scott's on Wednesday 17 October. JERSEY BOYS is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons - Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi - and how this group of boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest international pop music sensations of all time. The UK cast will be headed by Ryan Molloy (Jerry Springer, Tonight's the Night, On the Town & Godspell) as Frankie Valli, Stephen Ashfield (Taboo, The Marriage of Figaro) as Bob Gaudio, Glenn Carter (Jesus Christ Superstar, Chess, Les Miserables, Grease) as Tommy DeVito and Phillip Bulcock (Grease) as Nick Massi.

      

Original Four Seasons members, Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio flew into Britain to attend the launch and meet the UK cast of this Tony Award winning musical. While answering questions about the show from Magic FM radio presenter Neil Fox who hosted the event, Valli said "The story was told with as much truth as possible. I think that has something to do with the success of it. We were young kids who did get in trouble."  When their careers took off, he remembered, "We kept our pasts secret, kind of swept under the rug. When we decided to do this, we talked about it a long time. We tried not to hurt anybody, but as far as our own lives were concerned, we were pretty upfront." The show features Four Seasons' hits such as Big Girls Don't Cry, Walk Like a Man, Oh What a Night, Can't Take My Eyes Off You and Sherry.

JERSEY BOYS opened in New York in 2005 and remains one of the top grossing shows on Broadway. It will begin performances at the Prince Edward Theatre on 28 February 2008.
