Born in Gateshead Newcastle Paul began dance training at his local dance school The Reavley Theatre School,which was also home to 'Strictly Come Dancing' winner Jill Halfpenny. He then trained at The Arts Educational Schools in London where he was Student of the Year in his third year. He graduted in 2005 with a first class degree in Musical Theatre.
Theatre includes: 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' original UK tour, playing/covering Boris and covering Caractacus Potts. 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' Theatre Royal, Windsor alongside Marti Webb. 'The Drowsy Chaperone' original London cast, Novello Theatre alongside Elaine Paige, covering the roles of Man in Chair and George. 'Chicago', tenth anniversary cast, Cambridge Theatre, London covering and playing the roles of Mary Sunshine and Billy Flynn. 'Imagine This' original London cast, The New London Theatre, London covering Otto/Rufus. 'Hello, Dolly!' The Open Air Theatre, Regents Park covering Cornelius. 'Annie get your Gun' The Young Vic, London.
