Jye was born in Australia and made his West End debut at the age of 17.
Theatre includes: West Side Story playing the role of A-rab, Mamma Mia! playing Pepper, Cats playing Mr Mistoffelees, Anything Goes playing a sailor and Love's Labour's Lost in the role of Moth, both directed by Trevor Nunn at the National Theatre, We Will Rock You playing Cliff, Cameron Mackintosh's Time Of My Life, the World Premiere of Cameron Mackintosh's and Disney's Mary Poppins in the role of Robertson Ay, and the London Premiere of Wicked playing Boq on many occasions.
Television includes: numerous BBC and ITV appearances, recently filming with the BBC on Schizo, Samuri, Shitzu creating the Travolta role. He also appeared as Eddie in Murder Under The Microscope for the ABC in Australia.
